okay so i was being an ungrateful brat just now. AND i made an idiot of myself. come to think of it marine biology is pretty cool. just that i never envisioned myself being a marine biologist (i just only found out that being one is somewhat like a aquatic vet if given the chance)
the course itself is pretty fun, i guess. but then agen most courses are. i just don't see bright job prospects for me yet someone told be that i neednt worry about that as i'll always be able to find $$ (o.O ookay...)
maybe i'll appeal for a switch of course in the second semester.
comments n suggestions n whatever please...

hi! i'm a 3rd year marine bio undergrad at umt so i thought maybe i can be of help. :)
job prospects for marine biologists in malaysia is pretty high provided you know what you want to do. marine biology is a rather wide field of study and you can end up specializing in something that's in demand in malaysia. (eg: i'm gonna specialize in oil-degrading marine bacteria so MAYBE i can find work in oil companies who might need people to do their research!)
don't get too worked up on the results. haha~ i was like you too when it hit me that i'm seriously gonna study marine bio in a state i don't even know (i actually went online to find out where t'ganu was), i freaked out BIG time. but i'm still alive and well and enjoying the course and all the joys that comes with it. :D
email me or leave me a comment on my blog if you've any questions. i'll be glad to answer them. :)
